Piano Lessons
James Jelasic
Mr. Jelasic has openings in his studio for beginning through advanced piano students. He also teaches the art of piano accompaniment for those who are interested in performing with church choirs, instrumental chamber groups, or vocalists.
Mr. Jelasic received his early musical training at the Detroit Institute of Musical Arts, his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance on full scholarship from Eastern Michigan University, and his Master of Music degree in Accompanying and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has also done advanced studies at the Sorbonne in Paris and at Warwick University in Coventry, England. Mr. Jelasic's master teachers include such distinguished artists as Joseph Gurt in Ypsilanti, Michigan; Gordon Green of the Royal Academy of Music in London, England; Eugene Bossart in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Martin Katz in Boulder, Colorado and Akron, Ohio; and Leonard Hokenson in Augsburg, Germany.

Voice Lessons
Jon Lackey
Tenor Jon Lackey is available for teaching private voice lessons for beginners through advanced students. He is sought after as a teacher of singing technique, and his teaching includes basic music fundamentals as well as song interpretation.
Mr. Lackey received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance on scholarship from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, and did graduate music studies at both the University of Washington in Seattle and at Kent State University in Akron, Ohio. He has also done advanced studies in Europe with master teachers Gerard Souzay and Ilse Metternich.
In addition to his private studio teaching, Mr. Lackey is currently on the voice faculty of Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria, and has taught on the music faculties of Pacific Lutheran University and the American College in Paris.
